The “Tour de France” is visiting the Belleville Valley

On July 27, 2019, the twentieth stage of the famous and legendary Tour de France will take place in the valley of Saint Martin de Belleville.

A great opportunity to make our small mountain village, connected to the largest ski area and the highest ski resort in the world, welcome to the end of the stage.

130 km wait for the riders: connecting Albertville to Val Thorens, the last stage will sign a big first because it will be the third arrival beyond the 2,000 meters of altitude, which never happened in the Tour history! A cumulative elevation of 4,450 meters on the day, breathtaking landscapes, this stage promises to be an exceptional day to celebrate also the centenary of the yellow jersey.

This Tour de France 2019 has many surprises: for the 100 years of the Yellow Jersey, the leader of the overall classification will be rewarded each evening with a specially designed copy. The most coveted will be awarded to Val Thorens the evening of the penultimate stage so that the likely winner of the 106th edition will enter the Champs-Elysees wearing a unique tunic.
